PGC 00978 Complex HI profile. Probably due to the disturbed structure of the PGC 00978 galaxy, and the presence of a companion as described by Nilson (1973). PGC 01577 The narrow HI feature at about 8330 km/s could be due to the companion PGC 01577 located at 1'E (Nilson 1973). PGC 04711 IC1670B is located at 1'W from IC1670A=PGC04711; HI confusion PGC 04711 suspected in the high velocity edge of the HI profile. HI confusion suspected: the narrow PGC 09802 central emission could be attributed to the face-on galaxy NGC974. PGC 11437 Pair with the strongly disrupted spiral UGC2493 located at 1.6'E and PGC 11437 1'N. HI confusion. PGC 14031 Pair with UGC2887 located at 1.2'E and 1'N. According to RC3 PGC 14031 (Vaucouleurs et al. 1991) their radial velocity differs by about 100 PGC 14031 km/s. HI confusion. PGC 14045 In group of 3 with companions at 2'E and 2.8'N (Nilson 1973). HI PGC 14045 confusion could explain the smooth shape of the HI- profile. PGC 14937 Pair with UGC3019 located at 4.2'E and 2'S. No HI confusion. PGC 15674 Pair with NGC1627 located at 0.5'E and 10'S. The intense narrow PGC 15674 feature at high velocity, near 3850 km/s is due to the supplementary PGC 15674 HI contribution of the edge-on galaxy NGC1627 (V=3866 km/s from RC3). PGC 16168 The absorption feature between 4500 and 4600 km/s is due to the PGC 16168 presence of MCG-1-13-33 (V=4601 km/s) in the observed comparison PGC 16168 field. PGC 20324 Pair with ESO310-1 located at 1.6'W and 1.1'S. HI confusion. PGC 23437 The HI profile with a negative signal at high velocity between 1600 PGC 23437 km/s and 1900 km/s corresponds to ESO495-12 which is a galaxy very PGC 23437 similar to PGC23437=ESO495-9, located in the observed comparison PGC 23437 field. PGC 28246 The absorption feature near 2800 km/s could be due to the presence of PGC 28246 NGC3038 (V=2675 km/s) in the observed comparison field. PGC 29346 The neighbouring galaxies NGC3127 and NGC3128 are on the outside of PGC 29346 the Nancay beam. No HI confusion. PGC 31590 (ESO437-18) Fairall (1992) gives 4357 km/s (m.e. 200 km/s). PGC 34675 (UGC5340) Fairall gives 5937 km/s (m.e. 100 km/s). PGC 43852 Possible HI confusion due to NGC4780 (V=3494 km/s) which is located at PGC 43852 1.7'E and 9'N. PGC 53758 Pair with UGC9684 (V=5090 km/s) at 3.3'W and 0.4'N on the outside of PGC 53758 the Nancay beam; UGC9684 is edge-on and elongated along the N-S PGC 53758 direction. No HI confusion.
