We plan to image nuclear and circum-nuclear regions of starburst
 galaxies with a PFOV of 1.5 arcsec in order to obtain the
 spatial distributions of the hot gas and the dust.

 We will compare these distributions with those of the other
 components (CO, old stars, etc) studied at different wavelengths.

 These observations will provide insight into the dynamical
 mechanisms at work to produce such central starbursts (and
 sometimes active nuclei).
